About the Journal
Bhutan Journal of Business and Management (BJBM), ISSN-L 2079-7680 (Print), 2663-1784 (Online), is a double-blind peer reviewed journal published annually. The journal primarily encourages empirical and conceptual research articles, case studies and research notes. It provides a platform for researchers, practitioners, professionals, and academicians involved in business and management in particular and other areas in general. The inferences drawn from the studies in this journal are expected to benefit students, researchers, academicians, and policymakers both at the national and international levels.
- BJBM welcomes research articles on issues of current interest in management especially in the Bhutanese context. It publishes empirical papers, review papers, executive experience-sharing, comprehensive case studies and research notes which should bring out significant insights of managing organizations.
- In the future BJBM may be re-established as an independent entity. The College shall study and may give autonomy to its editorial board/publishing committee to act as an autonomous body. As an independent and autonomous entity, publication and subscription fee may also be charged from the author/s, and those who wish to subscribe the journal.
- An autonomous editorial board may also be required to form in future once it starts working as an independent body. The independent editorial board shall take care all its research and publication activities once it gets autonomy from the College.
The Journal Aims and Scope
The Journal Aims to:
- disseminate high quality latest thinking and research in the broad spectrum of management science.
- promote research in management science and provide avenues to researchers to disseminate new research findings and exchange ideas in management and other interdisciplinary areas.
Scope of the Journal
The scope of publication encompasses all areas of management science - general management, marketing, finance, human resource management, organizational behavior, logistic management, strategies, technology management, business communication and environmental management.
